Frequently Asked Questions and Troubleshooting
Why has my school not received DDR yet and how do I get it for my school?
We are wrapping up our training of all middle and high schools in the state and have started to train some elementary schools. Elementary schools will be our main focus for training during the 2008-2009 school year. Each school’s PE teacher is invited to the training, if you are teaching at a middle school or high school in WV, and have not been invited yet please contact us. If you are teaching at an elementary school, please be patient, we will get to you soon.
I have been trained already and have the equipment, but our school would like to purchase additional equipment, where can I get it from?
We recommend purchasing additional playstation 2’s and software from your local retailer or gaming store. For dance pads, we recommend you contact Cobalt Flux for additional equipment.
One of the dance pads I received from the training is malfunctioning. What should I do?
Please contact Cobalt Flux’s tech support at: support@cobaltflux.com
The playstation I have received is malfunctioning. What should I do?
If you attended a training in the academic year of 07-08, return the console to your local Walmart (if you have any problems with your return please contact us).
If you received your playstation from any year prior to this you will have to take it to a local game store that offers repairs on these consoles or purchase a new Playstation.
The software is malfunctioning and the playstation is not reading the disk. What is wrong with my equipment?
The disk for your software is most likely scratched or damaged in some way. You will need to either clean the disk with the recommended cleaning materials (available at most retailers who sell CD/DVD/game software) or replace the disk. DDR software is available for purchase at most local retailers, game stores and movie rental stores.
